Giorgio Tortarolo

If your Melges 32 requires any type of service or routine maintenance, whether it be major or minor, it is in the safe and highly qualified hands of Giorgio Tortarolo. He is a life-long sailor with very humble beginnings. At a young age he started sailing the Flying Junior and Laser inspired mainly by his father and famous Italian 470 Olympic sailor Ernesto Treves. Today, Giorgio enjoys great sailing accomplishments as he is a past Farr 40 European Champion, Italian National Champion in the Laser, IMS, SB3 and Swan 45. He also holds Mumm 30 and Melges 24 titles from Key West and SORC.

Giorgio's passion for the Melges brand runs deep as he assembles all boats that enter Melges Europe, performs repairs, maintains, offers storage and assists in preparation for racing. While at the events, Giorgio is the official point of contact for service during the racing season.
