The absolute final closing deadline for Corinthian entries for the 2008 Melges 24 North American Championship is Friday 26 September 2008. Competitors are reminded that entries for the Corinthian Division must include a full crew list giving ISAF Sailor ID numbers and classifications for all crew members. This information must be submitted at the time of entry and no later than Friday 26 September.

When submitting your Corinthian crew details please ensure that you have checked that your crew's classification is up to date. The classifications are awarded for a period of two years (unless the sailor's status changes during that period in which case they must apply for reclassification) and to be eligible to compete in the Corinthian Division each of your crew members' classifications must be valid for the full duration of the regatta. For your information the wording of the relevant section of the Notice of Race is as follows:-

4.1 The ISAF Sailor Classification Code will apply to the Corinthian Trophy. Please refer to ISAF’s Web site: www.sailing.org
4.2 Indicate classification for each sailor on the entry form if entering for the Corinthian Trophy and the unique ISAF User ID Number
4.3 The closing date for the registration of Corinthian entries shall be as in 3.2.
4.4 Sailors must be registered with ISAF prior to this date and be able to declare their User ID numberon the entry form.
4.5 Late entries cannot be considered for this trophy.
4.6 Full details for the Corinthian Trophy can be found in IMCA Championship rules.

3.1 The Championship is open to all boats of the Melges 24 class that meet with the obligations of the Class Rules and their National Authority, in the case that a National Authority exists.
3.2 Eligible boats may enter by completing the entry form and sending it, together with the required fee, to the Eastport Yacht Club so that it is received there by September 26, 2008.
